Only 15 minutes from Suzhou by train, you can go to Wuxi. It’s a nice city with lot of things to do. For our first time, we decide to go only for half day to visit the big buddha and the Brahma Palace.

From the train station, we take a taxi for 115 RMB and we arrive 50 minutes later in the place. It’s VERY hot, so we cannot see many people because chinese doesnt’t like the heat. We enter to the park (210 RMB for the ticket, it’s expensive but it’s worth to it). We see directly a big tower, and we will see later, that there is a baby buddha hided in.

We heard the cicadas, it’s like we are in the south of France.

We visit a nice temple, but it’s sad I’m not allwed to take pictures inside.

Then we go to see the famous giant buddha. We can see some nice statue on the way. We climb some stairs and we arrive in front of the buddha.

The view is nice. Then we go to visit the Brahma Palace, we didn’t really like inside.

At the end of the visit, we go to see a show (you know the time when you buy your ticket). At 3pm, we are surrounded by chinese in a huge room with a very nice ceiling with some changing colours. The performance is 20 minutes with nice costumes.

We are happy to see it, then we finish the visit along the lake and small temples.

We go direction the exit contemplate this park we really liked.
